From there you will enter in your information about the fundraiser campaign that you are creating, i.e., Mikey\u2019s Rehabilitation Fundraiser. You can always change the name if you want to add to it later or add more information to the description of how the fundraiser will help Mikey with his rehabilitation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

3. GoFundMe Fundraiser Goal Amount<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Setting a goal is very important because the goal should be an amount that takes into account the goals you are trying to reach by setting up the fundraiser.\u00a0 For example, if Mikey\u2019s goal was to raise at least $250,000, it won\u2019t be limited at that if you receives all the funds for that amount.\u00a0 Your fundraiser won’t automatically end if you reach your goal, it will keep going as long as people want to contribute. \u00a0GoFundMe\u2019s page will have additional information as to transaction fees, and other fees relating to charges, debits, etc. Make sure to review those terms carefully when setting your goals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
